(fino a 4 previa potenziamento alimentatore).The card BBPU – Base Band Processing Unit can be plugged in slot 1 (Single Channel), slot 1 and 2 (Double Channel) and it acts as an interface to the field for all the following signals:
both reception and transmission of voice and telegraphy analog signals
broad band analog signals (300 ~ 3720 Hz)
both transmission and reception of E/M call criteria
both transmission and reception of asynchronous MODEM low speed data . ANALOGUE SECTION – BBPU (BASE BAND PROCESSING UNIT)
BBPU board is a single side band amplitude modulated transmitter-receiver capable of sending speech and
data by means of frequency-division multiple-access technology.
The transmission scheme is based on single side band amplitude modulation with reduced carrier and
nominal transmission band equal to 4 kHz; it is possible to transmit one channel (single channel equipment)
as well as two channels (double channel equipment).
The reduced carrier can be used as a “pilot” to which important connection monitoring functions are
assigned, without limiting transmission band availability.
